Stroke Rehabilitation
Committed to a higher level of care, our stroke rehabilitation program has earned Disease-Specific Care Certification from The Joint Commission in addition to Joint Commission accreditation. This Gold Seal of Approval® is a direct reflection of our commitment to provide comprehensive treatment programs to help patients reach maximum outcomes.
The rehabilitation program underwent an extensive, unannounced, on-site evaluation by a team of Joint Commission reviewers and was evaluated against Joint Commission standards. To earn the certification, our hospital successfully demonstrated compliance with national standards and effective use of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to manage and optimize care for patients recovering from stroke.
Our hospital also presented an organized approach to performance measurement and improvement activities, including care specific to the needs of patients and families, infection prevention and control, and medication management.
